The Company

Talent Deck is a startup that helps build workplace communities. Their vision is to bring to life the concept of “zero time to hire”, which they achieve through a self-service platform – for both employers and candidates – which instantly matches tech talent with companies sharing the same values. Talent Deck allows talent and businesses to thrive as it is based on providing each party with the best cultural fit.

The Challenge

Talent Deck was a start-up with no history and online presence, in an extremely crowded tech-recruitment space and competing with well-established players.

 The Outcome

In order to rank and gain pure organic traffic, we carried out an in-depth market analysis and competitor research, merging quantitative and qualitative data to create a holistic digital marketing campaign, comprising of: SEO, paid media and content marketing. We also carried out UX testing and used insights to continually improve candidate sign-up rates, employers’ onboarding and overall traffic to the site to build on the brand. We developed a campaign which included the best balance of keywords – with a mixture of high and low volume relevant keywords – targeting live jobs as well as a number of long tail keywords, relevant to Talent Deck’s offerings and mission. We then devised four different digital campaigns targeting diverse user types along all the stages of the buying funnel.

  • SEO: produced informative and optimised content for acquisition, cultural fit, employee motivation, job hunting and women in tech
  • Lead generation: captured leads though relevant and informative content
  • Paid search: devised intelligent paid campaigns for job search, job location, audience targeting and tech recruitment
  • UX/UI: analysed heat maps, movements, forms, funnels and carried out testing; we improved user journey through data and insights driven from results and analysis.

 

Results

After 6 months
